PROCESSING

Annual Production：

Our three factories annually produce about 10,000 tons washed feather and down. All the efficient equipments, advanced machines and professional operators are the keys to achieve upgraded quality and high production capacity.

Processes：

We do following production processes at our in-house factories：

Pre-dedusting

Washing

Spin-drying

Drying

Cooling /
De-dusting

Sorting

Blending

Packing

Pre-dedusting：

The raw materials of feather and down are collected from different sources. Larger foreign matters and dirt are removed in our special designed pre-dedusting equipment.

Washing：

Special detergent and cleaning agents are used to clean the contamination and grease of feather and down. Washing and multiple hot water rinsing are repeated in many cycles. Certain quantity washing is required for keeping good filling power.

Spin-drying：

A centrifuge is used to spin-dry the damp on feather and down.

Drying：

Feather and down are tumbled in a stem tumble machine to prevent possible contamination of foreign smells. Temperature of 130 degrees of Celsius is applied to dry and sterilize feather and down. Ideal time and certain quantity drying are taken for bettering quality.

Cooling / De-dusting：

The drying feather and down are cooled in a cooling chamber, and then placed into a de-dusting machine again to get rid of the very fine particles of dust.

Sorting：

In a powerful sorting chamber, down cluster, small feather, long feather and other very fine residues are sorted out. The different quality of feather and down is precisely classified.

Blending：

Mixing chamber is used to even, equalize and uniform feather and down for customers.
